Scooter left the place of Mr. Blackwood early this afternoon although he still wants to hang out there for the free food that he gets together with the rest of the raccoon gang. The reason why he left early is that the wind starts to get chilly. Scooter thought that he has to prepare his home for the winter making sure it is safe and warm. Well of course packed with food.

Yay, this is my third drawing for the Advent Drawing Challenge 2020 of @london65 Today I am trying to depict the prompt which is about "Chilly Wind". I have a feeling that this is going to be hard for me. I had been wondering how I should interpret the theme hmmm but here is what I had produced so far.
Below I tell you about the process of making this drawing:
My initial thought is a scarf freely flowing in the air to tell the story of a wind then maybe add some snow to give that chilly feel to it. I am not sure but this is how I see it.
The final line drawing only has minor edit which is the shape of the scarf. This is Scooter by the way, a plump raccoon with a fat furry tail. I want to differentiate this third character from the previous ones that I made. To those who might know, my raccoon fascination was inspired by The Raccoon Whisperer Mr. James Blackwood who I saw on my Youtube recommended videos. Scooter and Samie are from the names of the raccoons he feeds. :)
The character Scooter is good but choosing the colors for his clothes I had to set aside for a moment. One thing consistent though is the colors of the furs. Anyway, the color of the buttons on his jumpsuit I put there right away this could be my starting point when I select his color palette.
Well, I went for the subdued tones. I was thinking red and blue but I had been using that palette for long now and still be using them here but toned it down a bit.
I am not sure if this says chilly wind, it was a challenge indeed so I just put the obvious wind with the icy trees and snow flakes. I hope this would work. I still love Scooter though.
