that one didn't work as well point is it's Zelda meets Adventure Time of course since it was developed by WayForward that should come as no surprise these guys are so retro they'd probably Pula pixels actually
that would be very painful point is actually I forget the point oh that's right Zelda this is basically Ocarina of all right look you get the idea now I can buy stuff so weight forward is actually done a couple Adventure Time games
now and they've all been pretty good pretty retro just pretty they're pretty games in fact look this isn't even the first time they mixed Adventure Time with Zelda they did one back in 2012 there's basically just Zelda 2
mixed with Adventure Time which is a weird choice of Zelda not the one I'd go with way forward it's called hey Ice King why did you steal our garbage which is a weird choice of a name too
so this is just all kind of weird choices anyway that game was awesome then they did a dungeon crawler in 2013 and that one was alright that one wasn't quite as awesome this one is though this one is just as good as the other one actually
I'm not I'm not sure it is as good as Ice King but if not it almost is actually there's no Zelda 2 so it probably is so uh this one starts with a pretty rad Zelda reference right off the bat
and I don't look at I'm not gonna spoil it for you guys but from there it references Zelda again and again and then it does it again I mean it's referencing Zelda just by existing to be honest with you its existence as a Zelda
reference Jake and Finn travel to a vast Kingdom where three young princesses have mysteriously vanished and there are three dungeons filled with monsters that they're gonna have princesses check monsters check three
temples check so what time is it top down in time I see now these are my kind of guys not getting bogged down by the details and the unnecessary plot I mean look this is in Orson Welles here it's the bottom of the well alright
that Zelda reference might have been a stretch whatever let's kill some bosses hey speaking of which there are boss fights and they are awesome they're actually really clever just like the the level design
and the puzzles in general I mean there are some really tricky puzzles in here but emphasis on some games only flaws its kind of short I'm if only three temples oh it takes a couple hours to finish this adventure
which isn't an adventure at all really if it's that short it's more like a more like a mild diversion well no look to be honest I'm actually the opinion that video games have gotten too long
in recent years so to have one that's like it's actually manageably short I mean for me that's that's actually a nice change of pace and honestly I mean that's about the only thing
I could criticize here the game looks awesome plays even better the music and the voice acting this is all top-notch stuff I mean I guess it's a little unclear at times
but I mean now we're just nitpicking I mean there's a singing princess the princess of song - that's right it is cool Finn you know what else is cool a developer actually taking the time putting in the effort
and making a game based on a cartoon not suck-ass wish I could invite to everyone at WayForward over to my place for pizza we'd play video games and watch cartoons and then we would eat the pizza that
I ordered maybe call some girls or something way forward do you guys know any girls I don't know pointers we'd have a good time it would be an adventure based on their adventure time games
I'd say those guys know a thing or two about adventure strongly recommended for adventure time fans Zelda fans the people in my mind seriously out of my mind right now.
