Udon Thani (อุดรธานี) is one of northeastern Thailand, in the area of Isan. We went there because I have some thai-family up there and I wanted to show Helèna what it is really like to live with the locals!
We arrived at the airport around noon and when we arrived it was pouring down. I wanted to ride “home” in thai-style, so we jumped in the back of the pickup, all rapped up in plastic to protect us from the rain and had so fun the trip home!
I love sitting in the back of the pickup (yes, I know it is not safe) because you get the wind blowen in your hair, and you can see everything around you..
Anyway, we spent 5 days I think up there doing so many things. Some of them were walking around in the neighborhood or driving around with the scooter:
Next post: temple visits in Udon Thani!
