ZIPLINING: A Fun Idea to Ease Traffic

Traversing EDSA in Manila on a rush hour is an energy-draining and chaotic experience. It has already become an ordinary part of a simple commuter’s life.

The 24-km highway becomes a temporary parking lot during rush hour — there’s almost no way to beat the dreaded EDSA traffic! It’s either you use a teleportation machine or take a helicopter.

Here’s a funny idea: Zipline your way through the traffic!

I actually read about this idea at Facebook which made me LOL so hard. But it somehow makes sense. Setting up a zipline would be a fun, exciting, and fast alternative to avoid the traffic jams! Ziplining is not for the faint-hearted though and one should be prepared to face smoke pollution. Hehe.

For employees like me, preventing getting stuck in traffic is critical if you want to arrive on time. Fortunately, there are alternatives that you can do to avoid getting stuck in bumper to bumper madness on your way to (and from) work. Leaving earlier than usual or choosing a different route can help avoid traffic jams.
