What a fantastic topic to start a conversation about! With extra/ intra-terrestrial contact being ALL OVER the mainstream media right now, it seems as though humanity is being primed and groomed for such events, without necessarily fostering any understanding of what to do in an actual situation of contact... It feels uber obvious to me that there are all sorts of off Earth civilizations/ organizations/ species/ etc, because..... well, math.
