Youthians are youth entrepreneurs under the Youthia universe that work within the Youthia Economy, a conscious capitalist economy to meet the needs and aspirations of the rising African and global consumers. This is done by developing products and services that alleviate humanity while turning a profit. The only way to do business, says a Youthian. The transformational relationship between Youthians and consumers is powerful because one cannot exist without the other. Youthians cannot exist without the demand for their products and services by consumers. Evidently, if there is no demand for these products and services in the economy, there can be no youth business that provides thriving and sustainable employment.
The Youthian needs a consumer and the consumer needs the Youthian. This is simply how the process works. You buy a high quality pair of shoes from a Ugandan artisan because the product serves as an aspiration in your life. This gives the Youthian’s business an opportunity to generate a profit, improve shoe production, provide and maintain quality employment and continue to scale. This ripple effect is often understated because of the inability to understand the dynamic relationship between Youthians and their consumers. A Youthian is incredibly powerful because they make our lives better by providing what we need and want, and thus, are rewarded in return.
This transformational relationship doesn’t stop there. For Youthian businesses to reach extraordinary heights, they have to collaborate with each other in order to build robust vertical and horizontal value and supply chains. This is where their power re-structures. They become in total control of their business growth in ways we’ve never seen before. Youthians play a big role in our world. Or they will.
