We Love Lucy': Tiny poodle mix makes big impact as therapy dog in Indianapolis school

Erika Kline takes Lucy around to visit with her second graders Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at IPS/Butler University Lab School 55 in Indianapolis. Lucy is a 7-year-old mini poodle mix, serving as as a therapy dog to kids at the elementary school two days a week. Her owner, Aaron Munson, is the school counselor and Indiana's counselor of the year.

Munson’s been in education for 16 years, nine of them as a school counselor. After just a few months of bringing Lucy to work with him two days a week, he has already seen the difference she makes for his students.
