Are you the one living just with the flow? Let’s see where life takes me to. Do you do the activities without any target? Be it office work or workout.
What happens when we don’t have any goals?
We get up whenever we want, then brush and lazily do breakfast. Time passes and we are sad at the end of the day, crying over being unproductive. We keep on doing things whatever we want. We become undisciplined. We make routines but never follow it. Be realistic when you make next time. Take baby steps. Rome was not built in a day. There is other side of the story. Maybe you can figure out your passion just by spending time without being result oriented. It depends on your way of upbringing and thought process. You must identify with trial and error which suits you or may be mix of both the world.
What happens when we do have objectives?
We care the time more and invest it wisely. We become more focused towards the things we want to do. We provide feedback to oneself on what things we failed or achieved during the day. Enjoying the journey is more important than reaching the destination. However, one may simply procrastinate the work to other day, if not strict on the deadlines. As I mentioned above, we must simply observe which things work on us and which doesn’t.
Things won’t be easier, and they shouldn’t be else we will be successful without any hard work. Additionally, we don’t care for the things we receive without any effort. We care the things more when we burn the sweat.
“Work harder so that you can work harder”
Once a C.A. tutor told his students, if you honestly want to become a charted accountant, you should live each moment of life as a C.A. We can apply the same technique to other field too.
Or as Mithila Palkar, Indian actress, said in her ted talk ,“ It is okay to not have a plan.”
Choose wisely what suits you.
