Self medication is a dangerous act so rampant in the developing countries and parts of the developed country.

I will be focusing on my country "Nigeria," it has become an act (self medication) everyone here sees as a norm.

Some people go to the length of noting the name of pill prescribed to them by a doctor, so that they can purchase it at a later time to self medicate themselves, they don't understand that even a doctor has to do series of test to prescribe a drug.

There was this love birds, they were so much in love, but they were not ready to have babies, the ideal thing to do would be to go to a doctor for medical advice, but they resort to the use of contraceptive to prevent pregant. Self medication is so wrong, it can end life within seconds, why don't you leave the job for professionals. Because you own a car doesn't make you a mechanic and because you know the names of drug doesn't make you a doctor.

Some things are worse than death, self medication can make you dead while alive.
