maybe, but if you were a laidoff hotel worker, would you know to focus your anger on AirBnb? Also, wouldn't you be more likely to aim at a public place where your message would likely stay longer over a private residence which will soon repaint?

Well, if I were a hotel manager who was forced into layoffs due to declining revenue resulting from AirBnb competition, I would certainly be inclined to be straight and tell the employees the reason they were being let go. And it's not like it would be hard for those people to then look up popular AirBnb locations to find where to vent their anger.
