Israeli officials barred al-Aqsa mosque from renovating reforms On Tuesday, a Palestinian official complained. Turkish news agency Anadulu Agency has revealed the news.
Firas al-Daib, a spokesman for the religious venerable authority (Waqf), directed by Jordan, said Israeli police forcefully entered Al-Aqsa Reinstatement Committee's office. They later warned the engineers there not to do any mosaic work or dome reforms.
He said that the police forbade al-Qibli and Marwani to perform any kind of reform in the mosque. They even threatened to detain the person in charge of the repair work.
Nearly 200 million Muslims of the world consider Al-Aqsa Mosque as the third holiest place. But the Jews regard it as a 'Temple Mount'. Their claim was that there were two temples of Jews in ancient times.
