This is quite true as I could relate this to one friendship. I just broke off with a friend as I realized that I had been used. I was helping her with many things and helped her looking for a new apartment. I sacrificed my time and energy for her. But she showed me her selfishness and disregard for me. I was hurt, disappointed and upset! Now! No more! I am staying away from her for she did not know how to respect a good friend!
You are very perceptive!! But this kind of experience will harden one’s feelings?!
