7-Day Music Challenge - Day 2 - Red Light Fever by TAYLOR HAWKINS AND THE COATTAIL RIDERS

Another day -- Another Album!

It's been a little bit interesting stepping back and taking a moment to reflect on which albums have really stuck with me over the last little while. Since @caitycat snagged the Mother Mother album (deadly choice, btw), I've had to reach a little bit deeper...

Red Light Fever - by Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders

I originally found this group because I'm a HUGE fan of the Foo Fighters. Taylor Hawkins is the drummer with the Foo, and one of my favorite songs has always been "Cold Day in the Sun" -- where he is actually performing the vocals. I'm not sure how I stumbled onto his side-project (probably a Youtube recommendation) -- but I'm glad I found it. This entire album has the same kind of vibe as Cold Day in the Sun -- raw vocals, great drums, nice rock feel.

GO TAKE A LISTEN!

Below are three tracks that I really enjoy from the album, and I hope you do too:

Never Enough:

Not Bad Luck:

I Don't Think I Trust You Anymore:

With that said, I'm going to nominate @aussieninja -- Share your faves!

Hey now you can always pick a different Mother Mother album- O My Heart needs to be heard by the world!! :)
This is a sick choice though. Taylor is an amazing musician, so I`m glad you gave his side project some love here. I literally JUST posted my Foo Fighters album fave haha. Great minds!
