Why Alcohol?

Heavy drinkers think of alcohol as a stairway to heaven but is it really true? I think there are different reasons that a person takes alcohol in their life. Alcohol primarily is a symbol to have fun that makes our brain less conscious about the things that we want to forget or things that we have trouble with. There are different meaning of alcohol for different people. I will be presenting majorly two things that people have drinks. 

Social Interaction 

Alcohol or special beer is a great way to have social interaction in a party, club. bar or anything that you can think. Personally I prefer to have some beers while social interacting with people and making sure the group is on the same page. It can greatly help a person to build up its communication skills and getting better at something socially. But there is a very big disadvantage associated with this that is if there is a non-drinker in a group then it just becomes very difficult for that person to be a part of that conversation.  

Forget about Stress 

Alcohol apparently make people forget about their problems and stress in their life but it is only for short time. I think people taking alcohol only just to get a small relief from the stress and forgetting about their life problems should be considered as a bad thing. In most of the heavy drinkers cases, the common reason that there are heavy drinkers is they want to forget about the stress for long. But they are drunk they don’t know a think what is good for them and what is not?  

Personally, I don’t judge people so I won’t suggest anything to any person to have drinks for a particular reason. It will be so awkward to say that people should have alcohol just to have social interaction not to release stress or anxiety. Each and every person have its own perspective to see things in its own way. Just do what you want to do instead of what you should do (Silicon Valley) ;)
