Pretty awesome that I've done 80 episodes of the podcast. If you haven't been tuning in, you really need to. Not only is it great fun, but let's face it - it's me! ;)
That said, and in all seriousness, it's funny how things like this happen. I decided it would be fun, and potentially helpful from a business marketing perspective, to get a podcast going. So I did it. Got some advice from people like my friend Aaron Clarey, who makes his living from his podcast, his books, and his consulting business, and I set out with some good best practices.
But wow. 80 episodes. That's a lot.
Joanna Penn says she won't even think about having a podcaster on her show who has less than seven episodes, because so many people start podcasts and then do nothing with them.
I had it easy, though, because my podcast concept was to read my stories, and I already had a lot of stories done and published when I started. I am nowhere near getting to the point where I won't know what to do in the next episode. And I anticipate I probably will not ever be.
Unless I quit writing. Which I don't plan to do any time soon.
So here's Episode 80, where I read Chapters 8 & 9 of The Pericles Conspiracy, for your enjoyment.
Fair warning - there is some explicit material toward the end of Chapter 9. Proceed at your own risk. ;)
