My first reaction was "that's pretty great for them. They really got a catch. Way to go, three dudes with microphones." My second was "maybe podcasts have really grown enough in importance that Presidential candidates might have to make the rounds in something harder than the soundbite cable news formats. That's a positive shift." Before even listening, the concept of it felt hopeful.
But while listening? Trump's still a moron. Even when he's making points I agree with, I wish someone else was the spokesman for it, because his understanding and presentation are both embarrassing. But, you know... he's willing to do this, rather than having handlers hide him knowing his state, so I guess Trump's at least got that going for him.
