You're on this platform. Steem is a cryptocurrency. This is an awesome platform. It's built on Ethereum. There are over 700 cryptocurrencies that are being traded on exchanges. ICO's (initial coin offerings) are coming out daily. Almost every coin or token has a function. Some are more important and relevant than others. It's risky because there are people who make coins just to steal people's money. Then there are coins like bitcoin, litecoin, and ethereum that are more secure. They're extremely volatile. However, there is great potential for massive profits...as well as losses.
