i think most online retailers resort to that tactic. i remember seeing a pair of emerald earrings very reasonably priced, so i clicked on the item. then proceeded to check what other items were being offered. When i returned to item that piqued my interest the price displayed was much higher. so i closed the ad and flagged as not interested in that company's ad. have never seen that company's ad ever again. Best to boycott companies that resort to such pricing strategies.
