That’s how quickly one’s fortune can change when most of your wealth is valued in fickle stock shares according to CNBC.

Amazon’s stock price has been soaring over the past few weeks on expectations of high earnings on their most recent statement. By noon of last Thursday Amazon shares were valued at $1082, which put Bezos’ wealth at $92 billion – higher than the former richest man for several years, Bill Gates.
