Opening an intelligent "store without queues" Amazon Go in the American Seattle (Washington) was accompanied by the formation of a long queue at the entrance. This is evidenced by photographs, which are published by local residents in social networks. The advertising slogan of the store says: "No queues, no cash desks (no, seriously)."
According to eyewitnesses, several dozen people stood in line at the smart store. "People are standing in line not to stand in line," one of the local residents said ironically about this.
The opening of Amazon Go took place in Seattle on January 22. In the automated supermarket there are no cashiers and sellers. At the entrance, the buyer must scan the QR code from the application, then select the goods and leave the store. The cameras installed in the premises will track what the visitor put in his shopping cart and transfer this data to a system that calculates the purchase price and debits the amount from the user's card.
