I was tasked with building a system that can handle daily work from home task, multitasking, and have decent graphics performance. Just the job for the "New" AMD Ryzen 2400G with Vega 11 right?
Well, yes but there is a slight problem, many of the reviewers out there got a full package kit sent to them. So they had a motherboard with updated bios already, a review sample CPU, and memory they know would work.
As a consumer we won't get the same treatment, many of the motherboards out there have a old bios on it. So it is up to the consumer to do so, easy enough right? Well not if you don't already have a Ryzen or AM4 CPU, so I didn't have a backup CPU, with one ordered I can resolve the issue later this week. However, I wanted to make sure the average consumer knows what they have in store for them trying to tackle this with no extra components.
Hopefully, this helps someone from going through the same mistake I showcased in this video. Good Luck
