Was Amelia Earhart Captured By The Japanese?

A researcher claims that there is a cover-up relating to Amelia Earhart's disappearance.

I've read about a theory that she and her navigator got stranded on a deserted island.

The proof that is provided: is a photograph(click the link below) which I felt was speculative at best.
