The American Flag

Fifty stars, fifty states,
All represented as one.
Started from 13 colonies,
Red stripes represent valor,
Of all that have been lost.
Patriots that gave their lives,
That paid the final cost.
White stands for purity,
And innocence for what we stand.
Blue stands for vigilance,
Perseverance and justice for our land.
The 13 stripes, 13 colonies,
They all stood together.
Who fought side by side,
In all kinds of weather.
We all make up a nation,
United by one flag.
For liberty and freedom,
I stand, and I now brag.
