Aminullah Supports UTU to Refer Agro and Marine Industry World

Banda Aceh Mayor Aminullah Usman officially opened Working Meeting (Meeting) Teuku Umar University (UTU) which took place at Kyriad Muraya Hotel, Saturday (13/1/2018) night.

The 2018 UTAM meeting was themed "We Strengthen Performance Achievement in Generating Agro Based Human Resources and Marine Industry" was attended by 90 participants consisting of university leaders, deans, senate and dharma women UTU, and will run until next 15 January .

In his speech, Aminullah appreciates and congratulates the big family of UTU who has held a working meeting in Banda Aceh. "We hope and support UTU to be an inspiration and forerunner, especially to be a reference for the agro and marine industry sectors at the regional, national and international levels."

On that occasion, the mayor wishes UTU as a campus that has a vision and mission related to agro and marine industry in order to support, cooperate and provide constructive feedback related to the development of Banda Aceh, and Aceh in general, even nationally.

In accordance with the theme of Raker UTU, the former President Director of Bank Aceh mentioned precisely UTU's policy to focus education on the agro and marine industry sectors. "The key to success is the focus, confidence and sincere intention to rise together," he said, sharing his 10-year experience leading the Bank of Aceh.

"Aceh Barat has an advantage in the agricultural, mining and marine sectors whose potential is so great to be developed in the future. Just improve the capacity or skill of the community in order to process all the advantages possessed. "

"We all hope UTU will be a great campus going forward by continuing to improve its quality. With so UTU will also increasingly in demand by the community. With the determination of all of us, I am sure the education of Aceh will be better, "said the mayor in front of UTU Rector Jasman J Ma'ruf and all UTU academics who attended.

Earlier in the same venue, UTU Rector Jasman J Ma'ruf said on April 1 the state universities built on the masterplan of the world's top 20 campus were four years old.

"UTU's great dream to become a world reference in the agro and marine industry is certainly impossible for us to realize without support from all parties, including from Banda Aceh Mayor so UTU can continue to grow and become a great campus in the world later," he concluded .
