The Mayor of Banda Aceh, H Aminullah Usman SE Ak MM said Pekanbaru Cultural Parade becomes an opportunity for Banda Aceh to promote tourism out of the region.
In accordance with the vision of its mission to develop the Islamic tourism sector, the Mayor sees the Acehnese culture and arts as an attraction in boosting tourism to Banda Aceh.
According to him, the tourism sector will be able to suppress unemployment and poverty due to many job openings, and also able to increase people's purchasing power.
"This event is an opportunity for Banda Aceh to promote the region in order to boost the tourism sector.The progress of the tourism sector will improve the economy and lead to the realization of people's prosperity," he said.
