Ampleforth - a new IEO on the tokinex platform (tokinex is itself a new IEO platform run on Ethfinex).

Thats a lot of new things all in one title. Ampleforth a new project launching on a new IEO platform called Tokinex. Tokinex is put together by Ethfinex, which is tied into Bitfinex.

So what is Ampleforth. Well you can read more about it here https://www.ampleforth.org/.

It tagline would seem to be that Ampleforth is a digital-asset-protocol for smart commodity-money.

What it wants to do is create equilibrium, so that as and when demand variables occur it always floats back into equilibrium. It looks to bridge the gap between central bank monetary controls and traditional commodity based monies such as gold and silver.

The team believes that Ampleforth can provide a solution that will have a lower correlation to Bitcoin price which is a problem that curses many projects in this space.

All up there is lot more to this project than what I could mention here in a short article.

However I am excited about the idea of creating a new asset that is not a stable coin and whose fortune is not linked to bitcoin.

I believe behind the idea is a project that could be huge and make its mark on the space and indeed become a new type of monies that could have massive real world adoption if the project can realise what they set out to do.
