Alright, guys, I got my canning projects done. Cheese and Tomato sauce are canned along with the Sauekarut. I am very happy about that.
The next three days are looking like this:
Monday:
Check pantry to make sure everything is there and see what I need to buy yet.
Clean up. Scrub the kitchen mainly the stove. Really give her a pampering. Get stuff together for the dinners.
Tuesday:
Take chicken out and get her unthawed. Put together the marinade to pamper Ms. Hen with. Nothing too spicy. I do have a Mojo marinade that is delicious on chicken. Keep in mind I am going to do some of my cooking ahead of time.
Assemble Green Bean Casserole. Yes, she shows her age in the sunlight, but she's always a winner. Corn can be boring, but not anymore. Mashed potatoes, I think I will replicate the flavor profile of the marinade. With lots of butter, oh my goodness.
Wednesday:
Give Ms. Hen ready for her big day. A nice bath, a message, and then marinade in the Tropical Cuban Mojo Marinade will make her fantastic. Of course, I will put her in bondage with butcher's twine. After that, I just have to get everything else ready while she is pre-baking with the Green Bean Casserole.
Get the dressing ready with turkey bone broth.
At the end of the day, all I have to do is put everything is ready and just pull it out Thursday.
Make Deviled Eggs!
Thanksgiving:
Put Ms. Hen in the oven to give her a beautiful tan. Place casserole in the oven with the dressing, corn, and potatoes.
Place Deviled eggs out for us to enjoy. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
