The free market is brilliant. I now with a deep amount of contemplation have come to appreciate tremendously the beauty of the idea of anarcho-capitalism. The free market is astonishingly simple to understand; how it ever seemed so far from my mental grasp growing up is beyond me.
It's really simple. There are people. We want things or services of some sort to ease and augment our quality of life. That is the essence of demand. Then there are those innovators that generate ever more brilliant solutions to the problems of human suffering in some way however minuscule, and even however apparently meaningless and trivial, like a unicorn pillow or something. There is demand and there is someone who will create the thing and trade it to you in exchange for something you have valuable to them. So we create money, which is an omni-dimensional unit of value which stands for everything! More importantly, it stands for time, even though you can always get more money, but you can only buy so much time before money is useless. It is an abstraction we invented to ease the complexity of the simple phenomenon we humans engage in endlessly trading time for value and value for time.
This is ancient. It is as old as the genesis of language in human beings I surmise. It is merely the technology mediating the exchange of value that evolves, and at an increasingly accelerating pace, such that it becomes exponential, provided the market is truly democratized meaning it is truly free. No individual has to ask permission nor trust anyone in a truly free market. That is decentralization. So the free market is this emergent collective mind essentially representing the total inter-transactional activity of every single member of the human race, composed of a beautiful, self-sustaining and everlasting tension between human desires (demands) and providers (sellers) within its total web of continuous real-time interactivity. That is evolution! It really is like a brain and a brain has plasticity. The freer the market actually is, the more superconductive it is, and the faster evolution of humanity can proceed.
