Stay relevant.
Apparently as I've focused on learning the robot and brushing up on other skills at work, my hand welding skills have gone to shit.
I've turned down a lot of overtime the last couple months, which means I've limited myself to only 40 hours a week of practice. I guess I neglected the fundamental skill of welders: WELDING.
Tonight is practice night, and I'm gonna start taking the boss up on his overtime offers. A couple hundred bucks extra every night ain't bad either.
What do you do to stay relevant?
What skills get neglected that it would help to focus on for a bit?
What is your plan to actively combat the decay of skills that are relevant to your progress?
Tyfys y'all, keep it real.
Stay relevant.
Nate.
To stay relevant, I read relentlessly and pick productive podcasts to ponder profusely. Topics including entrepreneurship, leadership, human kindness and charity, and general self improvement.
Currently listening to ep31 of Jocko Podcast about My Lai, Viet Nam. Dynamically illustrates both the potential for total human depravity and the ability of a moral and just man to stand against the tide of injustice that threatens to damn us all collectively. In my opinion, Jocko is one of the greatest men of our time. Largely due to his ability to break down the most complex of ideas into digestible parts.
Also shouting out to #libertyepodcast for the encouragement and motivation it has helped in inspire in me. Tyfys @ashe-oro and crew
