The nature of a weapon is inherently neutral. A sword can be used to protect an innocent life from harm as readily as it may be used to claim that life. It is not the weapon, but the wielder which determines whether that weapon is used for Good or Evil. A hammer can destroy, but it also a vital tool for construction.
The complete human being has within them the capacity for empathy. They have the ability to feel the pain inflicted on others as if it were their own. Despite being in deep slavery and despite being almost completely unaware of it, most people still want to do the right thing - they want to do unto others as they would have done unto themselves. Complete human beings which are not broken through unresolved traumas do what they believe to be right. The conflict arises when what they believe to be right comes into conflict with what is actually moral.
This is the state of affairs for most sentient beings on Earth today. The vast and overwhelming majority of humans on Earth have come to believe in their minds, that the imaginary and evil construct of the State, is not only real, but is necessary. Some would even argue that the creation of a state is inexorable. That to create a state is an inexorable consequence of human social interaction sustained over long periods.
In reality, however, the state is actually a parasite. It is aggressive third parties preying upon the voluntary exchanges of their neighbors. The current model of so-called "government" is just the latest in an evolutionary line of mental parasites that exist in the mind of humanity.
The heart, however, is not so easily fooled. When even the most indoctrinated slave takes an honest look at the world, their heart tells them something is very wrong. All the war, famine and suffering of the world that they know exists contradicts what they have been taught to believe about the state of the world. If the state is necessary and helpful and benevolent as they had been told, why then, do so many continue to suffer? Shouldn't the almighty government, with their unlimited stolen loot, be able to solve all the worlds' problems?
And this is where we can begin to build bridges, even with those whose minds are still completely chained. By communicating with the much more ancient and wise intelligence of the Heart. My mind has been freed from slavery for so long, but so long as the heart and soul of humanity continue to suffer, I am still imprisoned. I am imprisoned by my moral obligation to try and do what is right. I cannot rest while slavery and evil run amok. I cannot give up the fight against evil, no matter how tired I may become.
Most importantly, I cannot allow my own demons, flaws, lapses of judgement or downright stupidity to allow me to become a monster. I must always strive to better myself and ensure my actions are in harmony with Natural Law.
The only hope for building bridges between the enlightened and the enslaved lies with our capacity for empathy. The mind can be bound, but the Heart has a much stronger connection with the Creator. It shall always strive for Freedom because Freedom is what we came here to experience. The Heart and soul of Humanity must drag the mind kicking and screaming into the light.
