Steve Jurvetson (Draper Fisher, Jurvetson) just uploaded a new video of Boston Dynamics' new "nightmare inducing" robots.
If you're reminded of Bradbury's "mechanical hound" from Fahrenheit 451, or Daniel Suarez's "Razorbacks" from "Daemon" and "Freedom(TM)," you're not the only one. ...Although they are a little more lively and agile than the "Terminators" from said franchise. (More like PKD's evolved "Second Variety" that was made into "Screamers" with Peter Weller.)
In any case, when the police finally enlist these to enforce all the millions of previously-unenforceable laws on the books, we're all pretty much fucked.
