I came to Mexico over some similarly bogus corruption in the States as well. There are worse places one could end up. 6 months in, FM1 visa almost up. Still debating whether to try to get a work visa or check out some other places.

      Well I got caught up in a domestic court conspiracy. Ex wife framed me with false accusations, court was all in favor of it. Not criminal charges but still can spend undetermined length of time in jail on contempt. I dont know to what extent Mexico is tied in to the FBI's NCIC system in the US. They probably don't care about US domestic court stuff
