Carl Segan Quote

Though i am not a fan of politics or any politician on this planet and so is many of us, but w ecan't help but ignore them and their activities as it affects our daily living. Their decisions and policies affects an individual irrespective of where you are on Earth so far there is civilization and Government there.

Comparing Politicians and several acclaimed men of God and religious leaders, politicians are not as hypocritically famous and they seems to have a heart than a host of this Clergies. Politicians are known to be corrupt from inception, unlike religious leaders who cajoles millions of people to pay tithe and offerings from embezzled public funds which this acclaimed political leaders pays joyfully to the House of Worships.

This politicians might be badly and crookedly corrupt, but they are charitable givers than this religious leaders who takes from the poor and the rich in the name of God and Religion to enrich themselves. Have you ever wondered why a Man of God, a Pastor, A Sheik or a Spiritual Master owns more than private jet, what are they going to do with fleets of Air-crafts?

Undisputedly politicians enrich themselves with public funds, and many Religious Leaders gets richer from donations and offerings in Churches and Mosques to do business instead of providing for the needy among them as commanded by the Holy Books.

For the sake of clarity, some of the religious leaders are iconic leaders with integrity who tries their best; But sadly there best is not good enough since "one tree or two or maybe three could never make a Forest"

Why Politicians have a heart than Religious Leaders

Sen. Dino Melaye

In the early part of 2017, a woman attempted suicide to put an end to her great debts but was rescued, she had been switching religions with the hope of getting aids from religious rulers which never came. She was dissapointed and decided to put an end to her miseries, we all might want to judge and blame her but anyone in her shoes would know better.

I have once been in a similar situation but never attempted to commit suicide, but i contacted one of the influential Muslim/Islamic organization in Nigeria West Africa for any form of assistance; their response was "We are not charity organizations." -An Anonymous Muslim Teacher

Above is the image of one of the politicians in Nigeria, Senator Dino Melaye a very popular and controversial man who out of empathy visited a Veteran Actor Sadiq Baba suffering from an alignment which required over a Million Naira in surgical procedures. Not only did Sen. Dino Melaye visited the actor but also donated the exact amount to him for his medical expenses..."Not all Beast are Evil is what they say!"

Relevance:A Question of who can be trusted less.

I would say never trust anyone but thyself. And therefore always ask questions.

What i know through experience is that they all lie and we have been living with lies all along.

You are so right, but some people are so brain washed by these Religious leaders they do not know what the Holy Books says about helping the needy.

One problem is ordinary people don't attempt to read and understand the Scriptures and use their god gifted brain to think, as many scriptures had been misinterpreted and manipulated to serve the interest of religious establishments.

I'm living in Turkey which is also near the middle east and a witness of what is mean of goverment, politicians, leaders, verbalists, dictators etc. There is just hopelessness at the end of 2017. The people can't know what is true for humanity. Life is nearly an meaningless word now. I hope ona day they or we will criticize all of this things. Just a basic hope

Comparing religious leaders and politicians seems to me like a biased comparison taking account the wide disparity that exist between them.

And also I don't see anything bad about religious leaders owning private jets, properties of other luxury. If they don't deserve it then who does? The thieves? The fraudsters? Or who?
Why don't we talk about members who have plenty money but don't give to the poor?

If I have #200 but can't give out #20 I should not common when a rich man with 200 million cannot give 20million because we are not different.

Talking about religious leaders who depends on tithes and offerings...well, I don't know any personally. But if any exist(which I know does) I think the judgement lies with God and not us.

And Dino who is used here... I can't fit shout. He's the senator for my constituency and I won't say more than that.

Well this is my own point of view. What do I know? I may just be wrong.

You made a valid point, but having a private jet is not the bone of contention but what the Bible says about helping the needy. As religious leaders, jets is not a priority Sir and Since they have Millions and they are not as the corrupt senators like you said, then they should find it too easy to help instead of Dino helping out!!!

You also made a valid point but one thing I know is that in heaven, there will be no special seat for pastors who helped the needy. So I think it's everyone's responsibility to help the needy, religious leaders or not. It's worthy to note that Jesus already said it that we'll always have the needy with us..

So if it's not a priority for the preachers to own a jet, it should not be a priority for anyone because this is a call to everyone.

All of it is the "Opiate of the People".

True...

religion, banks and politicians, are different faces of exactly the same animal.

Well spoken

You are so correct dear friend

I would have love to say something, but when it has to do with what carry God,i think i have to apply wisdom. Nothing i can do than to give a piece of advise.

Whenever anything has to do with the minister of God please let try not to judge or do anything rash, but they are only be judge by God and not man. Not even only minister of God but to people who are leading us. They are all there by the mercy of God.

In what ever form it may be,let not judge and see what God has to say to it.
