MYSTERIOUS CAVE COMPLEX DISCOVERED IN CHINA

There have been two large and mysterious cave complexes discovered in China in recent years, which are related in architectural and decorative style, but no one, nor scholars of the subject, have any idea who and why it was built. There are still no conjectures or theories about it.

The two systems are in Longyou, 24 cameras so far discovered, and Huashan, 36 cameras so far discovered, of which one is open to the public.

In June 1992, a villager named Wu Anai decided to pump water into one of the locally known caves and reveal the first of many artificial caves in the region.

After 17 days of pumping, enough water had been removed to reveal the cave including several carved stelae, confirming the idea that they were not natural reservoirs at all, but rather by man.

The floor of the cave occupies more than 2,000 square meters, with the highest point of the upper cave at 30 meters. The four stelae of cave 1ra are distributed symmetrically.

After this discovery, he continued to pump four other caves only to discover that they all wore the same markings on the walls and ceilings. The peculiar concern with the carved pattern is everywhere:
