What was the Largest Ancient City?

The largest known ancient city, Çatal Höyük, was inhabited between 6250-6000 BC. The houses made of mud were single storey but did not have front doors. People used to climb the stairs from the roof.

Humans tamed the wolves some 10,000 years ago. These animals, the first pet dogs, were protecting flocks from other animals.

In time, wild sheep, goats, cows and pigs were also kept as livestock.

Nobody knows who invented the wheel. Pottery wheels were used in Mesopotamia about 6000 years ago.

In the houses there were pots of different sizes, copper knives, stone tools, beds of straw and similar items for different jobs.
