So far virtually all of the reaction I've seen to it has been expressions of a combination of shock and humor. But the new André 3000 album is really, really, really good.
I haven't read much about who his collaborators are or what the process was, I have just listened to the album a couple of times, and it is way better than it has any business being.
For those of you unsure of what I'm talking about, I assume the artist himself needs no introduction. But, no joke, this is an ambient, minimalist jazz flute album. And it's fucken rad.
