This is my son leaning up against one of our bulls reading a book. The bull we got at just days old.
It amazes me the bond they have formed as well as the bond my son as formed with other animals on the homestead.
Its a bond I'm not sure most adults could form with an animal. We are always to busy rushing through chores, fixing this or that and handling everything else life throws at us.
Or maybe we just don't have that child like innocents that animals can sense.
As little cute calf's grow into 1000lb bulls this relationship isn't without its dangers and worries.
We can discuss tips and tactics to decrease these dangers while still allowing your child to form bonds with animals on your farm or homestead in a later post if anyone is interested.
