THE ODDEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!😬😬😬

Hey everyone! How have you been these days? How was your weekend?Did you do or perhaps see anything interesting?I did,I definitely did!

Despite the fact that I've been living in China for four years already and I thought I couldn't be amazed by anything else really here,I've seen it all: toads, eels, turtles in the supermarket and on the streets, shark meat in the restaurant, grasshoppers, centipedes, scorpions as BBQ meat on Hefang street and so on and blah blah blah I was still quite amazed by what I saw on the way to the coffee house yesterday!

First,I went for breakfast to a sushi restaurant called San Lang, Chinese name - 三郎日本料理,for those who live in Hangzhou I recommend to at least once go there for sushi and miso soup, the place is located on 299 Wen Hui Lu street, 文晖路299号 it's near West Lake Cultural Square subway station, exit B or A.
So,I haven't eaten sushi for a while and was really craving for some salmon and rice rolled up together😋😋😋

They don't have coffee at this sushi place,so I went to the nearest coffee house to get some liquid energy😁,and while I was standing at the traffic light waiting to cross the road I heard the noise behind, turned around and there it was,my biggest fear - insects being sold as pets on the streets😬😬😬I have phobia for all insects except for the teeny tiny ones like ants, but still don't really feel comfortable when they are crawling up my leg or something.

Anyways, there they were noisy huge cicadas in their beautiful colorful boxes (trying to make them look cute hahah nice trick - doesn't work really) with their moustache sticking out from these boxes..ick

Nice post

Thanks🤗

You are living in China? Cool! I have been to China and Taiwan. I love Taiwan the best despite their non English speaking people (seriously, the only people who spoke English were my Taiwanese colleagues). At least the Chinese made effort to speak English even those in rural areas (think of Jack Ma). Anyway the weirdest thing I encountered in China was the public toilets WITHOUT DOORS! HORROR! LOL!

What you've said just now is actually the oddest thing I've ever hear- Chinese speak English 😬😬😬😂😂😂I don't know,I've always thought that Taiwanese speak better English than Chinese hahahah Toilets with no doors😬How about toilets right on the streets?!yeap, you can also see this kinda horror here where kids are going right on the streets😳

I am surprised too that some rural Chinese do speak English albeit poorly but it doesn't matter, they tried, and I appreciated it a lot. Not so with Taiwanese, at least that was my experience. I hardly find anyone even those working in service line, speak English and this was in Taipei. Anyhow, not saying that as a bad thing just a little bit annoying.

Toilet on the streets? Hehehe...not too surprising. Coming from a third world country that is a common sight but the no door toilets? That was odd LOL.

Well yeah, toilets with no doors is a bit too much to comprehend😂You win!

LOL yeah!
