The Cowshed

Friends & Seniors!

I can recall the era when a cow was must in a home, however everyone had more than one and there was a special house for cows know as cowshed (गौशाला). I was in standard two when written an article on cow. Cow dung was being used in farmer’s field and in bio-gas. Cow milk was and is must for all including children and adults. In these days the cow and cowshed are being lost drastically due to modernisations. However there are few who still have cow along with cowshed. Today i have captured two cowshed, first one was in backyard and second was on frontier of a house. Please have a look and evaluate.

• The backyard cowshed along with cow:

On above image you can see a special cemented pot which is used for cow food and water. The cow dung just behind of cow has its own attraction.

• The frontier Cowshed along with cow:

Here the food port is little different from backyard because cow is out from her shed.
