The koksi beetle is one of the small animals of the Coleoptera order. They are easily recognizable because of their small round appearance and colorful backs and on some speckled species. In Western countries, this animal is known as ladybird or ladybug. The layman calls the beetle koksi as a ladybug, because of its size and its shield is also hard, but this beetle is not at all from the nation of Ladybug (Hemiptera). This insect is known as a petanikarena friend because some of its members prey on pest insects such as aphids. However, there are several species of koksi which also eat the leaves to become plant pests.
This beetle is found all over the world, especially in the areas where plant life provides its food. [1] In this world there are approximately 5,000 species and the largest of its length reaches nearly 1 cm. [2]
