animalphotography - bluetit bathing at a puddle

On my wildlife photography tour at the Antrachinger Au in Austria, we had the luck to take some nice pictures of wild boars, birds, and squirrels. Because it was a very hot day the birds where bathing in the puddles a lot. Because i found this very funny i took some nice pictures of a bluetit. Unfortunately i didn't have my 600mm lens at this time and i wasn't able to get closer than some meters to the bird before it flew away. This pictures are crops of the 300mm shots i did. I hope i can take better ones now with my 600mm lens.

Awesome Pic, he looks so serious and stern....

He's so bright :). It even seems that he painted in bright colors. Pretty. Thank you for the picture and good luck in the contest :)

Thank you very much @madlenfox

Can’t imagine how these would have looked with a 600mm lens! Funny how big the puddle looks compared to the small bird.

Yes i hope i can have some nice pictures this year with the 600mm lens. :-)

So cute Little bird
