In January this year I met with Tanja, Patrick and Stefan on a spot where Stefan knew that there are some owls living in the trees during wintertime. I already showed you some pictures of these owls but since they are so beautiful I looked through the images once again and did export some additional JPG files for upload here on hive.
I love owls because they look very beautiful, and they behave very calm during the day, so they are pretty difficult to spot. They are active during the night and do most of their hunting in the night or evening time. Because Patrick works as an arborist he is pretty good at spotting birds like owls on trees. I still need to train my eyes a bit on finding the owls in the trees. Most of the time the owls har hidden very good on a branch or behind some needle of the trees so most of the time probably nobody notices them. On the cemetery where we found them there are hundreds of people every day who probably don't know that there are owls living here.
