This bird, some kind of fisher according to my granddaughter, kept careful watch as we ate our lunch at Sea World yesterday. There were several other birds perched near other diners, all waiting for leftovers or a handout. Then, the coolest thing happened! A Sea World employee with a red tailed hawk on his gloved hand walked around the dinning area showing the hawk to these beggars, and almost all of them took off...all but this guy, who stood his ground. We didn't feed him, but I'm sure he gets enough with this trick to survive. This is my contribution to #animalphotography, one of today's categories in the Daily Photo Challenge created by @juliank.
