It was in February of 2014 when I first met my Dad and Mom. They were apparently doggy shopping and luckily for me I was the first and last puppy they looked at! My breeders met with my parents in Brighton, CO at the local K-Mart parking lot. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. It was me and my 2 brothers running around in the parking lot... we were 6 weeks old. I was busy sniffing everything I could find and exploring the grey concrete and running under the parked cars.
I saw two people walking towards us. They were holding hands and had a lot of anticipation in their faces. I saw them and ran towards them!!! My Mommy started jumping up and down in excitement as soon as she saw me. She held me in her arms and I knew she couldn't control her emotions. I licked her face and she kissed me back and we fell in love at that moment. My Dad stood there and just watched me with pure joy in his eyes. In his attempt to capture that moment he clicked this picture...
My dad loves to click pictures. You can read more about that in https://steemit.com/steemit/@lab.named.romeo/photography-i-m-a-poser
Back to the story.... My parents were puppy hunting like I mentioned. Just to let you know, there is no such thing because the first puppy you go see you fall in love with. Luckily for them, that puppy was me!!! 😉😉😉
Because I was only 6 weeks old I could not leave with my parents that day. I will tell you all about what happened after our first meeting and the heart wrenching wait till I got to see them again in another blog post.
Till that time my friends, STAY CURIOUS and BE HAPPY!!!
