This Green Turtle was gliding through the reef on the North Shore of Oahu in 2015. The turtles frequently sleep on the beach and can be seen moving back into the water around dawn. They are protected so if you ever visit make sure to look but never touch.

The water in the summer is flat and can be clear. In the fall/winter/spring finding days to dive in clear water can be challenging. Winter is better for surfing!
