The Caterpillar is the larval stage of the species in the order Lepidoptera, which includes butterflies and moths. Most are plant eaters although some species is insect eaters. Most caterpillars are considered as pests in agriculture. Many species of moth known for stage are causing damage to the fruit and other agricultural products.
Most caterpillars have a long and gilig-shaped body (cylinder). The caterpillars have three pairs of true legs on the chest, plus the three segments with four pairs of artificial limb called abdominal limbs on the middle segment of the abdomen and often a pair of abdominal limbs on the last abdominal segment. Caterpillar has ten abdominal segments.
