Buenas noches mi gente bella de steemit!. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una situación que estamos pasando en mi hogar.

Hace 3 días adoptamos esta perrita de un refugio de animales callejeros y abandonados, el cual funciona en la Casa España de la cuidad donde vivo, El Tigre, Estado Anzoátegui, en Venezuela.

En vista de la inseguridad que vivimos actualmente y la visita constante de ladrones en nuestra casa, decidimos criar un perro que crezca grande para ahuyentar a los rateros.

Ya habíamos hecho contacto por medio de una amiga @marbellaquintana, con una señora llamada Vicky que es la encargada del refugio. Ella nos permitió adoptar a nuestro gatito Max, el cual es muy querido y mi hijo @reyareyes lo tiene muy consentido.

Good evening, my beautiful steemit people! Today I want to share with you a situation we are going through in my home.

Three days ago we adopted this dog from a shelter for stray and abandoned animals, which operates in the Casa España of the city where I live, El Tigre, Anzoátegui State, in Venezuela.

In view of the insecurity we are currently experiencing and the constant visit of thieves in our home, we decided to raise a dog that grows big to keep away from thieves.

We had already made contact through a friend @marbellaquintana, with a lady named Vicky who is in charge of the shelter. She allowed us to adopt our kitten Max, who is very dear and my son @reyareyes has very pampered.

Así que llamé a Vicky y fuimos a ver a los perros que tenían en el refugio. De verdad fue muy triste ver muchos perros que abandonaron en penosas condiciones, que mostraban el maltrato que habían vivido. Había una perra callejera que me gustó mucho, pero estaba grande ya y debíamos conseguir uno pequeño para poder criarlo, ya que en casa está mi hijo y siempre vienen mis sobrinos pequeños, por lo cual es un peligro tener un perro bravo que no los conozca.

Por ello, nos mostró a Albina, una cachorrita de aproximadamente 5 meses, que la encontraron abandonada en una caja con sus 3 hermanitos. Tenían un mes y medio de nacidos. Cuando el personal del refugió la consiguió, las hormigas le habían comido una pezuña de su pata delantera derecha y la punta de su cola. Uno de sus hermanitos murió porque le habían comido una pierna completa. Los otros 2 hermanos fueron adoptados. Un hecho muy triste, no imagino cómo un ser humano puede hacer algo así!

So I called Vicky and we went to see the dogs they had at the shelter. It was really very sad to see many dogs who abandoned in painful conditions, showing the mistreatment they had experienced. There was a stray dog that I liked very much, but it was big and we had to get a small one to be able to raise it, since at home is my son and always come my little nephews, so it is a danger to have a dangerous dog that does not know them.

That's why she, showed Albina, a puppy of about 5 months old, who was found abandoned in a box with her 3 siblings. They were a month and a half old. When the shelter staff got it, the ants had eaten a hoof from his right front leg and the tip of his tail. One of his little brothers died because they had eaten his entire leg. The other two brothers were adopted. A very sad fact, I can't imagine how a human being can do something like that!

Nos enamoramos de Albina a primera vista, pese a que estaba muy débil, delgada y llena de garrapatas. El primer día le compramos shampoo contra las garrapatas y le colocamos la vacuna Parbovirosis, que le faltaba, le estamos curando su patica y colita, Hoy no ha querido comer y tiene diarrea. Estamos muy preocupadas. Todo el día mi mamá le ha estado dando suero con una jeringa para que se recupere. Ya al final de la noche fué que comió un poco, por lo menos está mostrando mejoría. A la 1 am le toca el remedio contra la diarrea.

We fell in love with Albina at first sight, even though she was very weak, thin and full of ticks. The first day we bought her shampoo against the ticks and we gave him the vaccine Parbovirosis, which was missing, we are curing his stool and tail, Today he did not want to eat and has diarrhea. We're very worried. All day my mom's been feeding him serum with a syringe to help her recover. At the end of the night she ate a little bit, at least she's showing improvement. 1 am is the remedy for diarrhea.

Espero de verdad mañana amanezca mucho mejor con el favor de Dios. Ya nos enamoramos de ella, y queremos que crezca fuerte y sana.
