Seeing a Capricorn so close in a natural Environment was one of the main adventures last year. Usually these are shy animals and don't show up in the near of humans but up there at the Grossglockner they are already used to us and since they have their Area where it is prohibited to enter for us humans they live a pretty peaceful live up there, looking for the best grass in between the rocks of the mountain. First we didn't see them but the got a tip that they hang around just above the "Do not Enter" sign and we just need to wait for them to pass by. When we finally saw them we were pretty happy, and Stefan and I took several pictures. This time we had luck because another time we visited this place they hang around very far up the mountain in the prohibited Area so we couldn't get to them.
From the Swarovski lookout point you have a very nice view at the surrounding area and the mountains.
