Black Clover has quickly become one of my favourite anime series after its premier in October 3, 2017, Black Clover was written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata and was originally published in Shonen magazines and gained such popularity that it was made in to an anime._Source

The story is centred around a character called Asta who is the main protagonist in the series, the universe is one where wizards exist in an almost medieval setting and guilds accept new members who aspire to become wizards and defend there King.

Asta was born with no magic and is projected as the underdog throughout who seemingly overcomes impossible obstacles, his main rival is a character called Yuno who he grew up with in an orphanage.

The antagonist in the series so far seems to be a group called The Eye of the Midnight Sun whose leader Licht seems hellbent on overthrowing the current King but at this stage we are learning more with each new episode.
