It’s heartbreaking to lose your work - and when we lose art we lose a part of ourselves so it’s doubly heartbreaking. Good for you for ploughing forward! Have you heard the story of Sequoyah? He worked on designing an alphabet for his language for years, but then his cabin burned down with all his work. But he started again, and this time he used a different approach - a successful approach! The fire turned out to be necessary for his success! (The old approach would have never worked.) May you find the same success as Sequoyah.
